Same here. Not much about them on the internet, but seems like they were a Salford brewery, somewhere around Weaste. Bought out by Wilsons in 1949.

Remember him, and saw him, but not from the photo. 5 appearances it seems. With the turnover of Managers we've had over the years, can you imagine how many players we've seen come and go.

Exactly, and funnily enough we seem to associate the late 70s specifically with the biggest turnover, when in truth, it continued throughout the Bond and McNeill era.
