Zinchenko scored the fourth goal of City's largest victory since 1987, but he denied suggestions he was not trying to find the net.
"Was my goal a cross?!" he joked. "A little respect please."
I only saw him talk about it in the post match interview where he was laughing along when so wasn't sure if he was taking it in good grace or being mischievous. Did he say anywhere else?He admitted it was a fluke.
We're not really here! Proofreading on Goal is awful.Did you spot the crazy paragraph in that article?
"The Carabao Cup was the only domestic honour Guardiola failed to win with City last year and he could now be on course to put that right this term."
You wot mate?

There's plenty like that. One of the tabloids printed an article earlier this season before a league cup game stating that we'd won 3 FA Cups since the takeover but we'd be desperate to win our first League Cup since 2011. SSN thought we were going for our 5th PL title earlier this season. What amuses me most is that it's not even a typo. He just doesn't know what he's talking about and can't be arsed to Google it either.
I actually do believe he meant it. The technique and power he put into it suggests me there is no way it was a cross. Either way, a lovely goal!
