Anyone got the stats for goals conceded with and without him in the side? We seem to concede fewer, and certainly fewer from down our left side, with Zinchenko at LB compared with others (Delph and Mendy).

Don't know but hasn't he been on the winning side in every game he has played ?
If correct that's not too shabby .

Your dreaming mate. Absolutely dreaming.

I like the lad and also respect him for his work ethic, commitment, loyalty etc. He's been a great stand in for our problem left back position.

But the idea he's an excellent left back, let alone that he could be the best in the league, is just blue coloured glasses.
Only player in the PL history who have won ALL his first 20 starts. He’s perfect as an inverted fullback and his crossing is also very good. Only 22, and has a very bright future

Whether or not he will ever be our number 1 choice LB is up for debate. What is clear though, is that his current performances, more than merit a place in this squad. For all the talented players we have, this young fella managed to win the POTM award, during a month where we were winning every week. That says to me, that he is more than capable of playing a part, in this amazing side.

He is a good player and at times a great one. This is not FIFA and we will never have "world beaters" from 1-11 and to be honest no team will. Its about squad players who can do a good job consistently and in Zinchenko that's what we have and I for one am very glad he stayed.

He has been a very good squad player in an excellent team. He has his faults and clearly knows his own limitations of playing at full-back. All in all, I am glad he is around but he is not a top level left back. He is good at what he does. A steady Eddie but we need an upgrade for next season

A very big well done to the lad for backing himself and refusing to take the easy out to Wolves, I ber Pep respects him more for having the balls to stay and fight his way into the first 11 proper.

Since he has come back from injury, some of his defensive work as a fullback has been absolutely clueless but some of his defensive work inside has been really good, made some good covering decisions etc.

No idea what Pep has in mind for him.

Best way I can describe him is 'not a natural'. You can see the cogs turning in his head, not that thought is a bad thing as we've had some right empty heads over the years. He is more than good enough until a brave opposition go for it against us, then I think we will struggle. But given that is pretty rare, Zin is a more than a good enough squad player. Particularly as I think he qualifies as a home grown player for European games

Tbh I think we basically have 3 at the back when he plays there & it's why Stones & Laporte were so shit v Spurs.

The very last game he played before injury, I thought it was the first time ever, he actually read every ball & positioned like a fullback. Then off he went. Very unfortunate timing.

His best games for us have come against Chelsea.

Especially in the cup final where he nullified Willian, Pedro and Hudson Odoi

I bet a few years ago when he was at Ufa he had no idea his career would turn out like this.

Dont know if this has been posted yet but apparently the lads put this on during a team meeting.
