Let's see. We have a player who has, supposedly, agreed to move to a club but, as yet, hasn't signed. Things drag out and there is much talk about what the hold up is. Does this sound familiar?

I thought Pep wanted an additional forward with Mahrez being an alternative to Sanchez who never got added...
Your terminology was ‘taking the place in squad vacated by Yaya’, I was merely pointing out that until someone else is sold then Mahrez has taken that particular slot.

I wouldn’t sell him think he’s more than worth his place in the squad, for a young kid plays with confidence and isn’t afraid to try things.

Will be interesting to see if he gets the chance to play a more offensive role in the USA games given the World Cup absentees.
It could just be the making of him.
Definitely worth more than 16 mill

Given Delph and Gundogan could be missing at times due to injury, we should probably keep him if we aren't signing a DM

Thinking more as a LB should Mendy be injured or suspended and Delph needed to fill in at DM or injured himself.

Things can always happen, but over the course of the season I think we'd be okay. Danilo can slot in as an emergency LB if needed. Keeping a player like Zinchenko who can only play back up to the back up LB may be a waste of a foreign slot to me.

He is not a dm so i don't know why they are making a link to not getting jorginho, truth is the kid needs to go where he can play in his right position,we do his career no favours by keeping him, nice kid though

This logic does my head in. Of course we wouldn't play him at DM. BUT with him in the squad he can play in one of his more natural positions and some of the players that COULD do a fine job at DM can drop deeper.

He is a AM and we are stocked there,he can't stay to be back up LB it's not fair on him

It's not really a case of being back up to the back up because it's likely Delph won't solely be a backup LB

We're not gonna fill the foreign spots either way.

  1. Ederson
  2. Bravo
  3. Danilo
  4. Mendy
  5. Laporte
  6. Kompany
  7. Otamendi
  8. Fernandinho
  9. Gundogan
  10. De Bruyne
  11. Silva
  12. Bernardo
  13. Sane
  14. Mahrez
  15. Aguero
  1. Grimshaw
  2. Walker
  3. Stones
  4. Delph
  5. Foden
  6. Sterling
  7. Brahim
  8. G.Jesus

I can understand selling him just think it could be a little risky

If he does go good luck to him and thanks for helping us to 2 trophies. His loan didn’t go well and he came back and got into the first team. Proved himself capable and a big move would be great for him and his career. If he gets this big money move he’s almost certain to be a big player in that team and he deserves it. Look forward to seeing him playing in the premier league in his natural position.

Zinchenko deserves to be playing as a 10, considering he will never be our first choice LB. If we can get £16m with any add-on's and potential buy-back then i'd welcome it. Getting to see how he can do in the Premier League is a big thing, but he could end up just another Kelechi..
