He's been fantastic for us and I wish him every success if he goes to Arsenal.

Apart from winning the CL, the players that are leaving have won everything else. Whilst we are sad to see hard workers like Jesus and Zinchenko leave, it makes you wonder whether Pep knows that the squad needs a refresh to inject enough hunger to keep going for more trophies. If everybody in the squad has pretty much won everything, it must get increasingly hard to motivate them all.

Imagine having a squad as good as ours, bolstered each season by 2 or 3 new signings and also a few promoted youngsters all hungry to win their first few trophies.

No, he was never named in our squad for last season as they are registered at the end of the transfer window.
He played in a competitive match...regardless of any administrative details the intent was clearly to go forward with 4 FBs...are you an attorney or are you simply being disingenuous?...

Makes a lot of sense, Zin probably wants more playing time at this stage of his career. We get a good fee and Arsenal get someone who can play Midfield and cover for sicknote Tierney at fullback.

This close season is looking like a major squad refresh/rebuild which augurs well for Pep staying another 3/4 years at least.

The key factor is the core players are remaining and those going/gone are being replaced by hungry quality replacements. If we just end up getting a left back in addition to what we have , then we are in for another exciting season.

A big factor in the fees I believe is not just the quality but the fact that they have all been here and at some stage renewed contracts without kicking up a stink about playing time. That reflects well on the character of the players
