Another child murderer found guilty this afternoon.
And also found guilty of 2 attempted murders.
Due to be sentenced on Monday.
He needs putting away for 40 years. Another scumbag of the streets.

You say that, but can you imagine how terrifying it must be for a person in their late 70s being released from prison after over (and it will be) 42 years. He won’t know anyone, his life as he knew it will be long gone and all he will have left is sorrow and regret at the life he threw away.

I think that’s a more condign punishment than dropping dead at 57.

If they own a £70,000 car and get nicked they have lost a shed load of money. Buy keeping their cash tied up in obscure or complicated investments they can keep their capital.

Be very hard too for a top drug dealer to get a mortgage given that they can hardly supply a record of monthly earnings from their employer.
And as you said, they are unlikely to pay cash.

What I can’t get my head round is that he refused to attend the hearing to be sentenced! How the hell does he get to choose wether or not to attend? He should have been dragged there kicking and screaming if necessary, what choice did he give that poor girl and her family? The world’s gone mad…..
