No, they’ve employed a senior executive involved deeply in the commercial side of the business and player contracts.

They’re now telling themselves that despite being a senior commercial leader since 2011, he would’ve had no involvement in the sponsorship agreements in that time that they insist are ‘obviously fake’, or any involvement in contracts that ‘obviously pay double under the table’.

They really are sad bastards.

I think Marwood would be the obvious choice if doing it internally.
Possibly Danny Wilson (I believe he is MD now so this would be the next progression) for some aspects of the role and someone else in to take over Omar's football responsibilities.
