My issue with this, is that rat ratcliff. How's he offering a job to one of our employees when his deal to join united has not been ratified by the Premier League yet?If those three are the holy trinity then Omar is the pope.
He was the person who Barcelona got very upset about us taking, which makes sense because he tripled their commercial revenue in 5 years in the early 00s.
No point in downplaying this, having your COO get poached by your main competitor is going to be a headache on all sorts of levels.
He made a terrible deal in my opinion. He buys 25% of the shares, Commits another bucket load of money for immediate investment in the team and facilities, Is responsible for all football operations, and becomes the person to blame on and off the pitch, yet the glazers can still force him to sell off his shares within 18 months for whatever reason. He could grow the value of the club, and they can buy back his shares themselves to sell them off for profit.
The glazers are snakes given their yank cartel connections and previous indirect and covert actions regarding us. Ratcliff is just a means to an end as they are clueless. Now they have one of our own to school them on the multi club model, and with insider information.
They are not wealthy enough to recreate our model, but they can always create more equity for outside investment.
