am like you ever the optimist it only dawned on me around the 89th minute we could lose the game and not win the premier once Dario scored I believed we go on and win it while my mates around me at the ground were in the foyer crying and missed the Sergio goal..
After the whistle and maddness I went to the concourse to phone the wife it was like a scene from a Zombie film lads crying wandering around in shock etc .
I'm sure once it sank in they all had a great day I certainly did lasted a out a week

I didn't celebrate but I was always convinced that we were going to win. I kept thinking of the Sporting Lisbon game in the Europa League where we'd fought back from 3 goals down but couldn't quite find the 4th and ended up going out on away goals. I was convinced that this time we'd get over the line.

Definitely didn't celebrate, it actually annoyed me with the typical 'Cityness' of it all. I just turned to my mate and said 'too little too late' Made the celebrations all the sweeter though !

At 2-1 down I was actually full of hope and never stopped shouting, urging the team on.

When Dzeko scored it actually made me pissed off. I went from believing to thinking "typical City, losing the title by one goal", and then....

I was absolutely raging at the ‘typical Cityness’ of it.
This totally. I celebrated like every other goal we score, but it just seemed surreal at the time.
I think I might have ended my celebration along the lines of "now fuckin hurry and get the game going again"

i honestly did, i said to my lad we are going to go on and win this now, it was Horlocks at Gillingham which got me frustrated typical City scoring a consolation this late but i think thats why i did believe once Dzeko scored

Yes, nothing like for the Aguero goal, but i did jump up and give it a “c’mon!” And a fist pump. Everyone around me had given up and was sat and so felt like i had to stand up and lead the line for once, which is very alien from me to be fair.
This for me too. Had to keep concentrating, so that we didn't lose focus.

Bald bloke in front was lost in a 'they promised us typical City was gone, well it f'kin' isn't, same old shite' tirade.

Took a moment out to offer him some succour with the words: 'mate, remember Gillingham.'

...and then got back to the task in hand...

For some reason the 10 year old who first went to Maine Road all those years ago returned!
I cheered like I did when Geoff Hammond, Colin Bell and Dennis Tueart helped us put five past the barcodes on my first ever visit.
I genuinely thought we would win and we did. Now that was celebrating!
The miserable typical City guy that I am, luckily, returned about an hour later because my missus wasn't where she said she would be to pick me up! I was totally sober though!

My lad had just turned 1 at the time and my weekends were no longer my own.

At 2-1 i was fucking done. I said to the missus to give him here, and started to feed him whilst watching the match, just give me something to do so I don't lose it. Edin scores and i think i "yes'd" quietly because there was no reaction from him.

2 minutes later and there's baby food on the floor and my lad is crying his eyes out.
