Careful people.

We lost only 2 games in 2008-2009, beat Man U twice--one of them CRUSHING them at OT, complete with Torres flashing the 5 cups, and Gerrard kissing the camera. Scored most goals in the league, had the best goal difference.

We still lost the league to the RedMancs.

Hope they hit a rough patch.

They won't hit a rough patch all refs BaconChops buddies have him leaving the scum with at least the premier title and an appearance at Wembley in the champs league

That's my point, looking at the the title of the thread and the table (and the result today). Would be a pity if they regained the title.

I don't know what's going on with you lot, but the flipside is yes, despite it all, you're still undefeated. A few teams are due some good spankings once you hit some form.

We haven't really performed to our full potential yet this season, so I suppose being still unbeaten is not to be sniffed at. It's just frustrating when you know that they're capable of so much better than they are currently delivering. I guess we're spoiled after last season. As for the game against the vermin in early december, I am confident that we can beat them if we approach something like last season's form. Without wanting to sound too arrogant, I honestly don't think they are that good a side. Particularly in defence and in midfield. With RVP, Shrek, little penis and Welbeck they will always be a threat going forward, but if teams have a go at them they can be got at. Look at Spurs and Everton (sorry!).

The crunch will be how we perform against the top sides. The rags have back to back wins against their rivals a bagged 6 lovely points. It's those types of wins that will probably give a team the title. Hopefully today's performance will give the team confidence for the tough month ahead.

They lost to spurs though.

We flew out of the blocks last season and played some great football. They were shite at the start of the season and and got away with it in many games.

Bit of a role reversal this season though their 'good form' is based on their attacking prowess, not their defensive qualities.

We have only played arsenal from the current top 6

Rags have played spurs, arsenal, Chelsea and everton.

We are in a decent position but these away draws could come back to bite us.

3 draws same as 1 win and 2 losses.

PSG, Athletico Madrid, Juventus, and Sheff Utd have all now bit the dust. Only Barcelona, Queen of the South and us left unbeaten!
