Open Letter on Season Tickets and Pricing | Club announce price freeze on "general admission season tickets & PL match tickets" for next season (p163)

Correct, and it must be said that a ticketing plan that is solely reliant on what happens on the pitch is abysmal. Anyone can ride the crest of a wave while we're hoovering up titles, but good executives would establish a sustainable 'business' regardless of on-field performance. In addition to their ethics, I believe certain individuals' competency should be brought into question.
There's likely to be an added sales problem from next year with the corporate / hospitality ticket allocation probably spread over significantly more people. Access to away tickets should become less of a sales incentive. This is partly self-inflicted by our Directors because season cards in Joe's sold out (in the first year) before away tickets priority was even mentioned.

That said, corporate season cars holders would reduce over time if we continue to stumble on the pitch and the Board would have to take notice.

In that time we’ve had 10 price rises, my ticket went from half the price of the equivalent at the Swamp to more expensive.

This was for this season (they’ve just announced a 5% increase today):

My seat at City is £930, my equivalent seat the the Swamp is £874. 12 years ago I think my seat was £500
Lots of theirs are cheaper than ours - south stand equivalent is up to £200 cheaper for example

I'm genuinely worried that the disconnect between the finance team and the fans here, I heard whispers that a 4% rise was being spoke about as recently as 2 weeks ago before crisis meetings had been called in the club.

Really hope there is a freeze and there isn't some sort of backhanded rise another way

I hope he does follow Omar. And fucks off out of our club.

The only important question is whether Soriano is operating as he is because it is what he thinks is best, or because Mansour and Khaldoon think it's best.

If it's the former and he fucks off (he is 60 in two years isn't he?) then we may eventually be good, if it's the latter it doesn't matter if he goes.

I still choose to believe Mansour and Khaldoon when they say what they say about the fans but we are getting to the point where we will soon find out whether I am being naïve or not, I think.

If there’s any truth in that then it’s a positive that they’re at least rethinking it.

Not sure the evidence would support your views on the owners. The likes of Soriano are there to deflect criticism of the owners.

It’s more likely to stop them being passed on to genuine rag mates so the club can tout them on.
That’s before the season starts giving access to the season card for the year. I think it goes back to Utd having a load of dead fans as season card holders.

It might give them a more reliable grip on ticket transfers too.

The more issues that get thrown up the more I’m thinking our ticketing system is pretty decent.

Fans who sell their ticket back to the club less than 14 days before a game will be charged £10

Imagine we did that. Probably next on the list.
So you get the full return if you book a holiday mid-season, but a tenner less for a medical emergency? That makes no sense.
