Otamendi

At this moment in time, with how the squad is looking and the hunger of the players I have every faith in whatever the management team choose to do.

Simply cannot see the intelligence in this move. Baffling. Don't need/nor want otamendi

Agree partially if it means Mangala goes out, however this fella is top draw, and I would rather have him than not

I was livid when the rags were linked with him, he would improve them instantly

If it does relate to the negredo money, then that part makes sense

We don't necessarily need him, but i personally want him, over demichellis as things stand

I'm all for it if the intention is to keep Mangala here, phase Demi out and have three top drawer centre backs along with Denayer who has huge potential himself. With injuries and form all four could get game time.

One of the best CB's in Europe and I'd like him here. I don't think a deal would have to involve Mangala. If anything this points to Dimechelis being phased out, which at his age is necessary. If so, a CB stock of Kompany, Mangala, otamendi fighting for the pairing with Denayer being the youngster is a pretty damn good selection, especially so if we can get him for a cut price to negate the Negrado deal.

could cowpoo about how good or how bad the guy is, but havent seen him play or know if he's any better than what we have now .. but at the moment, the backline is playing on merit and hopefully will stay as it is (sorry Zabba)

Do you know City have said that?
well unless every single sports journalist are wrong most likely.Ric it may be a good thing but todays team and defence looked full of energy with great defending and blocks all over the park.i think it takes time to bed in to any club and ottamendi although great player he is may disrupt that. There has been mention of lopes going on loan but that means we would lose him because hes nearly out of contract.I do hope we keep mangala now we have him settled in and looking confident.Ottamendi to add will be a great signing in the long run as will mangala.
