Is this guy proper good? I can't remember ever seeing him play and the last thing i want to see is us spending more money on defence on players that aren't up to the standard.

Otamendi is a sensational defender. Last year his performances were as good as any Kompany performances. He's a warrior, hard as nails, and will bring so much leadership to the side.

Brilliant defender. £35m is a bit too expensive though, but still elite level defender.
