Other fans perceptions of us

Talk to virtually any non-City football fan and they just spout nonsense they have read in the media , sports washing , FFP fraud , arab owners , basically stupid and racist assumptions , i just cant be bothered engaging with opposing fans anymore.The media have brain washed the great unwashed , we will have to accept our success comes at a price
We were once likkle Citeh everybody's likeable second club , now we are public enemy number one , i know which one i prefer after 30 odd years of mediocrity.

They won it with Thai billions. As they did the league.
 
Lots of decent football fans out there who have a lot of time for City, particularly the fans.

Of course social media and those intent on ‘lads bants’ are not the type you want to engage with for a sensible conversation.

A lot of fans are full of hate though and football fans love to chuck a stereotype and base a clubs actions/perceived actions, or individual fans action to denigrate everyone connected with the club.

Look at any thread, on here, about a rival club and it is no different. When you are younger it arguably adds to the experience of being a football fan but as you get older, for some, and grow up, you become tired of it.

I’m surprised you tolerated it (the skauser) for that long, I’d have given up at the city bingo part.
 
I was in Barcelona a couple of years ago and was wearing my City top as usual, went into the shopping centre near port and a Spanish bloke who worked there saw my top and came over to chat.
He asked where I was from and I replied Manchester..he said he loves Pep and by association he likes to watch City too
He said he's spoken to a few City fans and they all come from Manchester but why do united fans never come from Manchester?
He said most Barcelona fans like City ..
 
You would think Leicester fans would look at their own greenhouse before casting stones.

Leicester needed to hit FFP in the Championship - they sold the rights to their sponsorship to a company called Trestellar Ltd - who sold the rigthts to King Power, Leicesters owners King Power - who were already sponsoring them before the shenanigans......without this deal Leicester would likely have been fined for failing FFP.

Think it was either the Times or Guardian podcast this week where some buffoon claimed Norwich are now everyone's third or fourth favourite club. I wonder what position he thinks we hold now?
