Ouija Board Experiences

I'm on the fence. I don't believe in ghosts/the paranormal in the sense of headless blokes riding horses or floaty sheets with black eyes, but I do believe in negative energy and atmosphere. My sister had a ground floor flat in Whalley Range and it had what I can only describe as an oppressive atmosphere. They felt it too, and I haven't been anywhere since that has made me feel the same sense of dread.
Jimmy Savile lived in Whalley Range for a while, are you sure it wasn't his old place?

It was only relatively recently I discovered Ouija boards were a board game developed in the early 70's (I'm typing that without fact checking...but seem to recall that being the case).
I guess Hollywood got their mitts on them then the rest is history.
Used to love ghost stories as a kid and in fact Most Haunted was a fun show...but I subscribe to the scientific explanations for all this (in fact someone on these boards once posted a story about the *'haunted lab' that took one guy to remove single item/part of the room out until he discovered the 'ghost' (which he too did 'see') was the result of a faulty fan causing vibrations to trick everyones eyes...

If you are intrigued by ghost stories, there are plenty about the Stocksbridge by pass. There's one account submitted by two police officers! I think it's near a pagan burial site. Plenty of accounts from workmen who were working on the bypass.

Werent they designed and produced by Hasbro? Tells you all need to know

I was way out with my early 70's conception btw...but what I really meant was the board went stratospheric (and darker) after if was used in the Exorcist (book and film) in the early 70's...hence the Hollywood reference.
