Ouija Board Experiences

Why do they only come out at night, why do they smell and why are they usually apparations of 18th century highway men or victoriana oddities floating aimlessly in space. Why not a chicken carrying its head under it's wing or a ghostly apperision from out your freezer from "passed over" farmyard animals. The dead can't hurt you, its the living you have to watch out for.

I moved into a flat in Shudehill a few years back and left after six days because it felt so oppressive in there. Constant sense of dread coming from one part of the hallway.
