Our biggest ever game?

Biggest game? Yes. It's probably the biggest game in terms of the spotlight that will be on us on the world stage.

Most important game, no, not really, not even close.

Is the biggest game defined by the impact of a defeat or the rewards of a victory?

If it's the former, then Gillingham is the biggest game. If it's the latter, then it's a toss up between the 2012 derby and QPR.

Gillingham play off final is the biggest and most important.

We wouldn't have got the stadium if we hadn't won that game.

Exactly this. No way could a semi-final beat a cliff-hanger where we either win something important or climb off our death beds. For me:

Newcastle 1968
Gillingham 1999
QPR 2012.

People using the term "biggest game ever" in the build up are only reflecting to it as being a very important game. Nothing more to it really. And no-one can't argue it is the biggest game this season so far. Let's hope bigger ones will come up.

We can all name the games in the past that really mattered. If some "WOULD HAVE" changed our history? No-one will ever know what would have happened to us if results were different than the ones in the historybooks.

CWC Final in 1970 is also a candidate. Back then, I seem to remember the CWC being held in nearly as high regard as the European Cup. Might be wrong though.
