Our biggest ever game?

The wider picture is that after last night City are in the semi finals of the premier club tournament in the world. Watched a programme the other night about how big this trophy is around the world even in South America. Nobody mentioned the 3rd Divsion play off final or the prize of playing in the Championship for the winner.
Not that it's important but I'm no youngster.
Dennis Tueart came to a supporters club branch meeting a few years ago and he made it very clear how pivotal that Gillingham game was to how City's future was going to pan out...

I don't want to appear needy but I just thought that after last night would realise the magnitude of the game. Obviously I'm mistaken and I apologise for trying to speak for others. Clearly in the world of Bluemoon a 3rd division play off final is a bigger game than a European Cup Quarter Final 2nd leg.

Yet more shit. You come over as a right dick.

Tell you what, we'll all change our opinion because it's big in South America.
As said previously - Gillingham was desperate necessity - although tense and nervous last night - it was uncharteted territory and exciting.
Perhaps it was unchartered territory because City had never been that far in the tournament before? Maybe you were tense and nervous (as was I) because City were about to achieve something they'd never achieved before?

Agreed - but nowhere near as nervous as I was that day. The deflation at 0-2 was incredible - I would have been disappointed to lose last night but nothing to how I'd have felt if we'd lose that play off.
It is important as you say - but to what we want to achieve.

That's my point mate, Gillingham was by far a more important game but last night was bigger. And that after all was the question posed by the OP
