Our biggest ever game?

Still waiting........
I don't want to appear needy but I just thought that after last night would realise the magnitude of the game. Obviously I'm mistaken and I apologise for trying to speak for others. Clearly in the world of Bluemoon a 3rd division play off final is a bigger game than a European Cup Quarter Final 2nd leg.

You're doing a poor job of hiding it then. Look; you're obviously unable to see the wider picture. Fine. But ask yourself this; if we had lost last night, was the future of the club in doubt? Honest answer. Then ask yourself the same question about the Gillingham game. See what I'm getting at? You're obviously young, going by the lack of insight in some of your posts. I have no problem with that. I was young once, a long, LONG time ago. What you can't do is to presume to speak for everybody else on here, which you did. You'll learn. Enjoy the s/f when it comes around.

That's why I asked. It did in those days. There really was little or no difference between the two.

Sorry, but you're fooling yourself there, mate. The European Cup was bigger, in the same way that CL now is bigger than the Europa League.

Without that '3rd division playoff final' swinging our way...we wouldn't even be in a European cup...unless the Johnsons Paint Trophy expands internationally

The wider picture is that after last night City are in the semi finals of the premier club tournament in the world. Watched a programme the other night about how big this trophy is around the world even in South America. Nobody mentioned the 3rd Divsion play off final or the prize of playing in the Championship for the winner.
Not that it's important but I'm no youngster.

I think 99% of city fans would agree with you.

Boom!! The small club mentality bobbing up and down in his wake:-)

Biggest game ever- hopefully, by the very nature of moving onwards and upwards, our biggest game ever is still to come.
Nail on the head Gary..

Tell you what, we'll all change our opinion because it's big in South America.
As said previously - Gillingham was desperate necessity - although tense and nervous last night - it was uncharteted territory and exciting.
