I hope the City 'fan' who did this is fucking proud of himself, the wanker. Some people simply do not deserve to be allowed access to the stadium. Ok, if rival fans are up for it, take it round the corner and do your Green Street bouncing around routine, but to randomly attack a fan who is obviously not out for trouble, fucking disgrace.
Very true. Always remember some poor city fan with his lad gettin a snide dig like that coming out of burnden park years ago.. made me feel sick, but far too many of the fuckwits about to do anything it. Like you say theres plenty about up for a scrap, but theres a certain type of shitbag.
That little **** will be no-where to be seen when someone who is up for it on Derby Day makes a pop for him, he will leg it like the rodent that he is. Put him on a plane to Poland too and he will wet himself at what might be waiting for him. So whats a 'man' to do to make himself out to be a hooligan? Peg an innocent fan then brag to your mates how you've just 'done a Gooner'. I actually hope he got ran over come to think of it.

Re: lol outside the ground.

This will happen time and time again and the incidents will get worse and worse. The Police need to use their loaf and keep the away support in the ground for 15-20 minutes after the game before someone (no doubt, an innocent party) gets seriously hurt.

The total lack of police presence anywhere other than 100 yards from the turnstiles is amazing - either keep the away fans in or put some uniformed officers along the main walkways back in to the centre of town.
The police are there (I assume) to ensure that law and order is enforced and to make sure it is safe for all supporters to get home safely without fear of coming into contact with scum like this.

Funny how there's a thread about Arsenal fans, while your lot is alot more violence. You would never see anyone get treated like that outside the emirates

Seen it at Highbury and the Emirates so stop talking bollocks, every clubs got them. Il tell you what is funny though, how Arsenal have got their own forums yet your on a City one.

Not aimed at me I know but im here coz im banned from the Arsenal one.

Anyway fair play to you City fans for condoning it, all clubs get your share of wankers you cant control it you dont pick who your clubs fans are.

Re: lol outside the ground.

Arsenal are far from innocent. This is not an isolated incident. Who was the lad who posts on here who was sucker-punched and left unconcious in the road by a cockney twat after the Ade game last year? As I remember, some City lads who witnessed it made a robust citizen's arrest, marched the wanker back to the Old Bill and they still eventually let him off due to 'lack of evidence'. Remember them kicking off with the South Stand stewards last year — one of whom was a woman? Anyone who attacks innocent fans minding their own business is a coward and a nob, but we seem to have more of a nasty rivalry with Arsenal than anyone else these days, and it seems mostly due to self-righteousness and sheer envy on their part. So for them to be giving it the big un to City fans outside our own ground after a game filed with incident and controversy is naive and foolhardy. Not right in an ideal world, I know, but then again, it's not right that you have to lock your car or your front door. But only an idiot doesn't. Part of the survival tactics for travelling fans. I certainly won't be mouthing off when, referee permitting, our team destroys them at the Emirates.

I hope you meant condemning it, as they mean the opposite things!

And please City fans, we may get it at away grounds, but two wrongs don't make a right. Perhaps its more to do with society in general, perhaps it is a throw back to survival of the fittest and is therefore deep inside us BUT it is still possible to rise above this thing.

Yeah, banter in the ground, giving it large etc is all good fun. But, if outside we just ignore any potential idiots and troublemakers and show a bit of constraint then they will just walk back to town and get on their trains.

I can't believe that some people on here are justifying it cos Arsenal were giving it large having just beat us at our own ground. I walked back into Wigan after we beat them and those same people were singing songs cos we'd just won. If the front row of a rugby team had then kicked off and hurt them, they would be the first to be saying 'We were only having a sing song!'

IDIOTS, all of you. And cowards. Look forward to seeing you bouncing up and down behind the Police line at the Derby without the balls to run at anyone.

Don't get me wrong, if someone runs at me about to hit me, I'll stand (as I did at the Carling Cup in order to protect my son and father) but I won't go looking for it or hitting some innocent shirter because we've lost.
