Overseas blues

Born in Stockport (thats three of us in this thread) now living in Puerto De Mazarron, Murcia, Spain. City fan for over 50yrs, hated the colour red as a kid. Only got to see City when they played Newcastle when my dads friend would take me, I used to take a wooden stool to stand on.

Manchester Born and reared, lived in Benchill til family moved back to Ireland in `75 and come from a family of REDS. (Dad and two brothers, who never go to the swamp)

Still as City daft as I was then, still in touch with schoolfriend who puts me up on my regular trips "Home"
Would give anything to be at the games when kick off time arrives, been a member of the Galway Branch of OSC since it was founded over 15 years ago.

Born in Irlam in 1970 and have been watching the blues since 1976. I was a season ticket holder for over 20 years and also went to many away games. Have been living in Paris since 2003 - still get over for games every year and manage to watch all the games shown on tv.

Born and still live in Austin, TX; I discovered City by chance when a English First Division match was on TV late one night (very rare at the time) in 1991. City vs. Arsenal, City won 1-0 on a David White goal. I played for the Austin Capitals Soccer Club '75 and our uniforms were the same sky blue and white, so I was immediately drawn to City. I also remember hating the Arsenal uniforms (horrible yellow and black/navy zig-zag pattern). City won, and I didn't know at the time but I was hooked.

I subscribed to the Soccer America newspaper, and every time I received a new one I looked for City's results. I followed City on the fledgling internet through MCIVTA and for the next 7-8 years I thought I must be the only City fan in Texas, or the USA for all I knew. I finally had the chance to travel to England and my trip luckily matched up with our last trip to Wembley. I have only seen one live game for City, but I couldn't have picked a better match. Seconds from a ruined trip, City gave me the best souvenir ever and my red travelling companion developed a soft spot for the Blues. Thanks Super Kev and Dicky!

So, money or not, I'm stuck with City and y'all are stuck with me. I'm still loving the ride.

There are a lot more USA blues on here. Including me, I'm in Dallas (that's two in Texas! Bluelonghorn and I should start a Texas OSC!)

Most are ex-Pats in the US but there are a few more yanks on here.

Spent my first ten years on this planet in Moss Side (Claremont Rd, 5 minutes walk from Maine Road), then the next 8 in Longsight. Moved over to Ireland in '82. Never stopped supporting them, AND NEVER WILL!!

Born in Manchester 42 years ago, family are in Bollington but I am in Moscow until the end of the year. Only found one place to watch the match in Moscow. It is a place called Hot dogs. If any other City fans know of a better place let me know
