I'm sure it's been discussed here but I don't have time to trawl. Is this a pay per play deal?

Depends which paper you read. £220,000 p/wk probably.
at least £500 k a week

It will be interesting to see if the media call it a Mancini master stroke. That's what the said about Fergie when Lickle Michael Owen stumped up at Owe Trafford on a similar basis.

The Media won't even be repoting on it - except to belittle us - if the Sneijder rumours are true!
The do like to think they top trump us don't they!

Lets hope that the outcome football wise is a little more productive for City, than Owen was at united.
Owen helped them to just one PL+CL double, so i hope he will be even more productive here! :)

Yes, although it won't matter much.

Re: owen hargreaves

Can't wait to see his pre match warm up - after all that rehearsal with the cones and things, that in itself should be worth the admission money.

Re: owen hargreaves

Andy Bloody Gray pointed out today that it's not how fit he looks, it's what happens the next time he gets clattered. Makes sense, unfortunately. But there's still no down side.

And he's very right on that. Only time will tell though. It would have never been hard for him to get 'fit' in the endurance sense of the word as his levels were always super human.

His body's all cleared, but can it handle slide tackles, swelling, etc. Dunno, but we'll see.

That tosser Fletcher would no doubt make an effort in crocking him in the Derby.
