Owning a nice watch

Yeah, one to dig into next year.
Seiko Dealer right? Any other similar dive watches off good value?
I wear my apple most to the time tbf but I do love the look of those chunky dive watches.

Thanks mate.
This is my skx. I bought it second hand about ten years ago, paid 60 quid for it. Orange dial, yellow chapter ring.
I've never shown it much respect if I'm honest. What I do, it does. It's been covered in oil, sand, cement, thinners, you name it. Just keeps ticking.
Brilliant watch.

Any clean King Seiko 5626-7041 Officially Certified Chronometer for between 4 and 5 tun and the jobs a ball o wool

Some great pieces there fella, I've owned a few that you have in your collection, several 300's, the tag Monaco, and briefly, the superocean.
Unlike you though, I tend to move them on to scratch the next itch, but I rarely make a profit lol.
Not many become keepers, and I don't tend to suffer from sellers remorse, but I do regret selling my last 300, it was a stunning watch.
I love the history and the craftsmanship too, being an engineer myself, I'm in awe of watchmaking.
I have moved on a few myself over the years to scratch that itch myself, when I got the deep sea the other day I traded in my Rolex explorer ( polar dial) against the deep sea,got £10,000 for it so only had to put £4,000 on top for the deep sea which I have been after for a few years now and I'm more than happy with that deal

And so you should be, that's a great deal.
The deep sea is a superb watch, I'm not jealous at all....:-)
I'm happy with my planet ocean for now, in fact thinking about it, it's probably the longest I've ever kept a watch of that value.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience mate, appreciated.

Wowers...I really like the colours on this too.
Great thread this and once I start deep diving (see what I did there) I'm sure I'll be back with more Qs!!
Thanks!!

Come back with any questions any time mate,it's always good to try and advise a new watch lover,do check out that chrono 24 I have used them for years and have always got a good deal on there

I probably will sell it next year as I want that 300 back, before they go daft money. I'm already looking lol.
As much as I love the po, it hasn't got that certain something that the wave dial bond had. I've never had a watch with a better bracelet, and the case is just brilliantly done.
I might buy another speedy with the change ;-)

Vintage tissot chronograph. Love this watch, the white dial is stunning.
