@RadcliffeRick beat you to that one 1 page ago...I think they are meant to go on yer wrist.
I really want an Explorer for the same reason. Your average Joe wouldn't look twice at it. I love the Omega Aqua Terra too.I like very simple watches. No dates (especially not with the Rolex date bubble glass) and no other fancy dials or functions. Just something that I can use to tell the time and that looks good. My watch of choice is therefore the Rolex Oyster Perpetual. I've had it for about 20 years now and I love it.
Yeah, I spotted that after I'd posted!@RadcliffeRick beat you to that one 1 page ago...
They go to preferred customers with a decent purchase history. They tell you you're on a list to get you out of the shop hence the you've been removed quote. Of you have no purchase history with them then you've got virtually zero chance of purchasing a Daytona .I was passing the Rolex store in Chester and thought I’d ask about my place on the Daytona waiting list.. They check and say “you’ve been removed”.. Weird as I’d have made a purchase if they’d offered me a watch..
The list is now officially closed but the manager there managed to reinstate me.. Not sure I’ll ever get the nod but at least my name is down.. I’m two years in now and the girl in the shop said 8 years.. Crazy if true but it’s costing me nothing to be on the list
I asked if purchase history would improve my chances and she said no.. so I guess you have to be a high roller to get one quickly
I was definitely on a list as I saw the online info.. I also saw the info to confirm I’d been reinstated.. If I don’t get one it’s not a major drama but at least I’ve triedThey go to preferred customers with a decent purchase history.
