it's a weird place, according to wiki that open end car park is a for a cinema also "in 2001, Bishop of Oxford Richard Harries conducted an exorcism after the feeling of a malicious force and the team's loss of thirteen of their first seventeen games at the new stadium was blamed on a gypsy curse placed on the club by a Roma man who had been evicted from the site during construction."
We actually dont own the ground and if you ask any oxford fan they will say they hate it,give me the manor anyday...basically we are being bent over by our ex owner we pay around 1 million pound a year to play at the soulless pit,new owners are looking at new sites for a new ground so here's hoping

Being having a look at their forum.

A lot of them seem to have one eye on a derby with league leaders Wycombe at the weekend. Most are fearing the worst with some dreaming of winning on penalties. But I can't help thinking this guy has hit the Xmas sherry early:-

"bit of turmoil at Citeh behind the scenes, with Arsenal sniffing round their assistant coach, if KR can get the team to play the way we were a or so ago theres a distinct possibility of an upset.... late 1-0 smash and grab win, Ruffles grabbing the glory"

Obviously always a chance we won't come through the tie but a "distinct" possibility?

I would involve Aguero at some point. Jesus played a lot of football. Sterling too.

I saw Sterling with a bandage on his leg. He was training so can't be too serious. Would take opportunity of Aguero's return to ease strain on Sterling / Jesus.

I think I'd play Mendy in midfield too with Mendy overlapping. SOme good signs from Mendy recently. His passing and cross accuracy improving.
Agree with Aguero point, get some minutes before Leicester. Can’t agree with Mendy mate in midfield.

More power to your collective elbows then friend.

I’d honestly put Carson or Ederson in goal ( I know he won’t )
Bravo is just quite simply an awful goal keeper and leaves us much more vulnerable to a shock

I reckon he meant to say Zinchenko in midfield and Mendy over-lapping, but I still reckon Angelino would be good enough. Why am I seeing yet another penalty shoot-out victory in my dreams?

Good luck to you. The tendency now is to have grounds way outside the town, I've noticed. Keeps costs down, but the real fans hate it.

Have you considered Tom Quad at Christ Church at all? You could put some cracking £10,0000 per year boxes up in Tom Tower.

no corner stands? What happened to the stand behind the goal, looks like decent parking though.

The parking isn't great. i drove there last season and getting into the car park hectic, ended up being quite fortunate getting a spot right next to the ground but it took me about an hour to get out the car park after the game. i'd park up and walk.

I'd imagine something like the below, I'd have gone with Angelino, but Zinchenco could do with some minutes.
I'd imagine Bernabe and Doyle should get some time too, maybe Harwood Bellis.
But personally i'd give Sergio 20 minutes or so to get some match minutes in at some point.

Bravo
Cancelo Garcia Otamendi Zinchenco
Rodri
Foden Gundo
Bernardo Jesus Mahrez

Zinchenko should start in midfield on the left side. He performs well for Ukraine in a similar position and, for once, we have ample cover at left back.

Put him at 6. That's where he was for his best Ukraine game IMO, and it's a position where he could potentially get in the first team regularly.

Not sure if Pep will go for this much rotation, but I say fuck it:

Bravo, Cancelo, THB, Garcia, Angelino, Doyle, Foden, Zinchenko, Mahrez, Jesus, Bernabe
Bench: Carson, Otamendi, Mendy, Gundogan, Bernardo, Poveda, Sterling
