Pablo really was the man

Was a little reckless when he first arrived but under Mancini he developed into an outstanding full back. His attitude, effort and bandaged head endeared him to the fans and he saw off various challengers forhis place such as Micah, Maicon etc. We cant have had many more popular players.

I can remember a moment, and I think I can place it, when he became a hero. I’m pretty sure it was the last five minutes of the game against United in 2012, at 1-0 up, when they were having a bit of a go and we were all nervous as hell. He won a big tackle, over in front of the East Stand, and jumped up and practically roared like a lion, pumping his fists.

Does anyone else remember this? I’m 99% sure it was that game.

I'm pretty sure he was coming to the end of his contract at West Ham so a bit like Dave he's another one who has probably played his last game in England now.

I think he said as much, as the last match against West Ham was his final visit to the Eithad.

"a little reckless"? Fucking hell, you're being generous there. If I can be equally "generous", let's just say some of his challenges were a tad "robust"!

Seriously ? How's about the 2011 cup semi when Scholes did him. Warrior.
