They are named as are many others.I'm staggered that Blackpool FC has not been included in the list of "guilty" clubs.

Totally agreeThink at times like this we should expect a hammering from the media, and for once it's justified.
Shameful from Swales and his cronies and it is a stain on our club at that time which will never be removed to my mind.
Clear and organisedTypical of our disgusting media. Totally missing/ignoring the point of the story in favour of gaining clicks
I watched that Celtic programme. It was well known what was happening, everyone knew it was wrong, but it was inconvenient to tackle it reputationally. You don’t need modern safeguarding policies to do the right thing. They didntjust look at various videos investigating the going ons with Celtic etc.
We just simply didn't have the safeguarding in place for the youngsters back then.
Everything about the Club under its current ownership and management is abolutely top class. Regrettably the same can not be said for Swales. That was a dark time in our history. With that said, proud of the way the current ownership has reacted for the victims.
It was around the same time when I started senior school (Hartshead in Ashton) and the music teacher was nicknamed "Bummer Turner" by all the kids, he used to take the under privileged children back to his house, feed them, give them money and abuse them, all the kids knew, It's impossible the other teachers didn't. I remember "Mr Turner is a puff" being written on the English blackboard, we weren't aware of what a paedophile was in those days. Nothing was ever done about him.Probably because it was 51 years ago and the safeguards in place today that we take for granted just weren't there. I suspect also that the clubs hierarchy didn't want to associate themselves with such tawdry matters and didnt want to raise awareness by any form of suspension although, perhaps he was interviewed and strenuously and plausibly denied it, its hard to know exactly what went on as so much time has passed. These dirty bastards only got away with what they did as other people were either negligently or apathetically enabling. It should now be time for those people, however old or even passed, to pay the piper.
I'm glad the club has taken what action it can although the wrongs can never be righted.
The report into abuse at City by Jane Mulcahy QC, which the club itself commissioned, describes City's response to the allegations at the time they were raised, as "wholly inadequate". That's what the clubs own report is saying. The club has rightly apologised, to its credit, on behalf of the old regime, so we can't complain when those criticisms - which the club itself is making too - are repeated in the media. Given how freely accusations of a 'victim' mentality are chucked around about fans of certain other clubs on this forum, I think it's especially important that when we discuss this issue we recognise that the victims are not the club, or City fans in 2021, but the kids who were abused.Dan Roan or not, can we not make this particular thread a rant about media bias. There's no points to be won here.
