Amazing win, second game 4 goals, great response to a tough arsenal game and we're not going away!! I love the Blues

Rico Lewis has had 2.5 brilliant games this week, and I'm very very happy to see Grealish lording it up on the left. De Bruyne worried about Foden taking his spotlight?! I don't care how you spin it as long as those lads push each other on and on.

Couldn't be happier with the response from the intl break and the arsenal draw. Up the Blues, fight to the end.
 
We won and it was brilliant. Fantastic performance from the King KDB and Grealish at the same time it was poor performance from the defence especially Dias.

The defence along side Haland performance is the major concern right now for me.

I watched MOTD last night and it was worrying how often and easily they cut through our defence. That game could have easily ended up 4-4 like the Chelsea game, or an even higher scoring one. I've never seen us give up so many chances as this season. Even though Rodri had one of his poorest games the drop off when he was subbed was alarming. Can Pep sort it this season? It's looking unlikely so we're going to have to live on.our nerves until the end. Hopefully we'll get over the line in one of the three competitions and end up with a trophy. I fear it won't be the league. Liverpool due to their lead are favourites but Arsenal are bloody strong this year. Their defence looks impregnable and they are still banging goals in for fun.

I find it baffling. Our defence has been so good up to this year, then suddenly poof! We have conceded many more than our two rivals this season.
There have been injuries and individual loss of form, but it feels like something amiss with the set up, as sides can slide through us. We need a decent coach to sort it out!

Since 2010/11 we have won 7 PL titles, 3 FA Cups, 6 League Cups, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

We are currently 3rd in the PL, in another FA Cup Semi- Final, and in a CL Quarter Final. And people are moaning about the team?

Give your heads a wobble.

Exactly! It’s mind-blowing that City are still in this title race with the injuries we have had, the fallout from the Rodri suspension and the quality of the two clubs we are competing with…and all after winning 5 of the last 6 Premier Leagues and being the FIRST TEAM EVER to win the BIG FIVE TROPHIES in one season!!

Too many Blues starting to sound like Rags and believing we somehow deserve trophies for showing up!

My hope is that we don’t turn into Rags, already we are inundated with half-and-half scarf clad tourists at home matches.

Watching Ederson digging out the inner-most part of his nostril cavity, is the reason I taught my kids to always carry a handkerchief. At least he didn't eat the contents (I hope)... It was good to see him back from injury.

It was also great to see a reaction from KDB after being dropped for Villa. Evidently it hurt him & he raised his game accordingly to show the world he was still the boss of The Etihad.

It was interesting to hear him tell the interviewer that Foden isn't seen as a kid any longer & that Phil's now a competitor for his place in the starting eleven.

Haaland was Haaland, but even though there was the usual lack of game involvement we've become accustomed to, at least he buried the chance he got like he would've last season. Worryingly, he's been missing far far easier chances too regularly.

Since we've been using the inverted defender system more often than not, teams have reverted to sitting deep & relying on hitting the vacated defensive spaces at speed.

Walker & Akanji mostly have the pace to recover, but we've been caught out by blistering counters too many times this season to our cost. It's making us look shaky & vulnerable, when in previous seasons our rock solid defence has been the reliable foundation for everything else.

According to TNT, long before kick off, Pep was sat in the dugout on his own & deep in contemplation for some time. With seven games to go, we're now relying on the Dippers & ArseAnal to wobble & drop points, when they're showing few signs of doing so.

The Premier League isn't decided over 7 games, so there's a distinct possibility we could finish third the season after winning a dream treble.

Regardless of what happens in the league, hopefully this'll be the kick up the arse we need to ditch some of the deadwood in the squad, & bring in the quality additions we failed to do last summer.
