Palace (A) Post Match Thread

Will be fine is my guess.

If he had braces and was on crutches I would fear a long term injury.

By the looks of this it looks to be a hard impact injury that will probably leave him heavily bruised for a week or two.

Pep on BBC:
"Please, referees, they have to protect players. We were lucky against Tottenham and against Newcastle. Today we were not lucky.

"Referees have to protect. We know how strong physically it is England but teams miss big players, not just Manchester City. The replay speaks for itself. We have to protect players."

Too right, proper classless.

Never liked that outlook from football fans, it’s proper hypocritical n’all because the same people would probably be going mad if a fan of another team said something like that
Nah fuck him. He went in to hurt KDB.

Hypocrisy would only come into it if we were defending one of ours who had done similar.

Pep humbling himself begging for protection for ALL players. What a man !

Jose's ego would never let himself say "please"

Pep needs to forget being polite and start to talk in press conferences agressively. This has been a shitshow and he needs to be vocal and make some pressure on the subject.

Think he said what was required when he insisted today, that refs MUST protect ALL players & that whilst it’s fine to look for divers - it is also important to protect players. He has to be careful he doesn’t get FA charge for criticism of ref!!!

However, pratt Moss missed the dive & booked most of our players. Joke of a ref IMHO
