Palace away....

visited this place in the 80.s a couple of times, my advice would be to try and leave yourself plenty of time as i seem to remember it is a very difficult ground to find ,might not be if you have sat nav though.

Using the AA route planner, they quoted from my house (failsworth) to palace's ground, it would take about 4hr 20mins.

Wheres the best train station to park at and then get the train in? Im coming from manchester.

A palace fan said park near the ground and leave couple of mins early and you will get away quick.

Dont know what to do?

Can someone post here or pm me cheers

You need to set off by 1 for this one. Not worth risking any later.

I am considering risking this one, finish work at 4, giving me 4 hours from oxford/warwick broader down the M40.

Those of you thinking 3-4 hours from Manc don't drive round london mid week evenings very often.

This would make a good challange on TOP GEAR You should all do it in old bangers and with low fuel to make it really nerve wrecking

Im goin down on the train from macclesfield at about noon my self to London Euston then gettin a cab to Earls Court then just walking plenty of time spare, not worth spending so much on petrol only £30 for a return ticket on trainline.com coz the traffic is a bugger if you hit rush hour!

You must be staying over though? No train back
