Palace v City post match thread.

I'm still really fucked off at that tonight. Players had a go but it's telling that as soon as the team sheet comes out the collective groan at the SAME shape, same formation, same tactics and same fucking Navas and Dzeko. Why oh why is a professional manager making the same mistakes game after game? It's ridiculous. Pellegrini has to go at the end of the season.

We would have won - IF - Negredo had been playing in the form of his first 6 months.

Dzeko has been woeful this year - after signing another contract last year. He cannot wait to get out of The Etihad.

We can't win against team that attack and press us and we can't win against team that park the bus..

How utterly pathetic was that? I mean, how can a group of, supposedly, top class professional footballers be so fucking clueless how to play the game. Same with the manager. How is it possible??? I'm so disappointed and, frankly, embarrassed by not only today's performance, but the entire season as a whole. We have consistently made worse-than-average teams look like title contenders.

that's why we might just win at united :-) because they're not going to park the bus and they are not going to go all out in attack
Just my opinion
Bring it on because our lads will be up for it especially after tonight

We can easy beat the rags but not if we play 4-4-2 with Navas on the wing.

Honestly, the lads haven't really shown they're up for anything this season. Can't see any reason why we should expect it to be different this coming weekend. Prepare to be disappointed, everyone.

I don;t normally agree with much you post, but on this I do to a degree, we do fanny about too much, and even from our 22 attempts tonight, there weren't enough direct ones.

That said, with a 5/22 goal attempt ratio, its hard to understand how they scored twice as many as we did.

Its not good enough.

heat map for us tonight:

<a class="postlink" href="http://epl.squawka.com/crystal-palace-vs-manchester-city/06-04-2015/english-barclays-premier-league/matches" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://epl.squawka.com/crystal-palace-v ... ue/matches</a>

If you click on events on there you'll find our touches heatmap, and it proves that point.
Doesn't work for me (firefox), just get a blank pitch. I'm not surprised though having watched it live.

had to improvise a penalty box as it wouldn't save and copy properly, but there's basically our play tonight.
