I wonder if it would make sense to delay the parade until the players have fulfilled their international duties and had a holiday. Ok the excitement might have died down a bit but the double or treble would be worth some kind of celebration before pre-season tours start, and definitely preferable to no celebration at all.

If we lost the final I can't see it happening. Obviously given a bit longer to reflect the double is fantastic and worthy of celebration but I'd be lying to myself if I said I would be all happy bouncing and ready for a parade 2 days after a CL final loss.

What we will get is there were 1 million United fans in town when United did the treble, which is of course a lie. There wasn’t a million fans in town, but Sly Sports, the BBC, etc, were running with that crowd naumber after the event.

Totally understandable that it would be on Monday, considering that almost the entire squad have international commitments. Even those who aren't away for internationals need as long a break as possible.

Yes it's shit for those who will still be in Istanbul, but if we lose there'll be no parade and if we win you'll have been there to see us lift the cup anyway.

I've no skin in the game as we go away on Sunday afternoon.
