I love Pardew to bits.
It all started when he as a Journeyman player for Palace he scored in the FA Cup semi final for Palace in a 4 -3 semi final win against the Mickeys who had Hanson, Barnes and Beardsley and all the others.
He did a magnificent job at Reading and at West Ham when he was only a Stevie Overrated long shot from winning the FA Cup and he was within two games a couple of seasons ago of the holy grail for the also rans - fourth spot in the Premiership.
He is smart, articulate, tactically aware and as we have seen today - and a while ago with Mr P and before that with Arsene and the ridiculously under -achieving Martin O'Neill a complete nut job when he is in the technical area. What's not to like ?
The topless Geordies who had an attendance of 10,004 in Ossie Ardilles last home game before Keegan took over for the first time ( best supporters in the Country, my arse) - do not deserve him.
In his current role he also had the unenviable task of following on from a Manager who was doing well and didn't deserve to get sacked in a million years (Hughton) - and you can throw in the fact he works for a Chairman who is a Buffoon !
Pretty certain if he was England Manager Cleverley wouldn't get a look in.
