"Alan Pardew was forced to apologise to Manuel Pellegrini for calling Manchester City's manager "a fucking old ****" during City's 2-0 win on a bad tempered, highly contentious afternoon on Tyneside."

**** is not edited out on the Guardian

Guardian's not as Julie Andrews as this place.

Pellers is sheer class. To react the way he did on interview and treat it as a none event was just class. Pardew knows he's a cnut for saying that and behaving the way he did. Meanwhile our manager stays cool, calm and collected. I like him, a lot, we need to start showing him some huge amounts of appreciated, indeed we need to start showing huge amounts of appreciation for everything City, because this ladies and gents is just the best time of my life as a City fan......Fuck the rest.......................We are class from top to bottom.

It's the most clearest offside ever, if he stands still it hits him and he is off side but he ducks out of it still in a offside position therefore being offside, would pardew behave that way if it was an away game I don't think so, as a manager he has put himself in the SAF league of *****
If you grab a birds arse, you've interfered with it, if you go to do it and swerve you're hand away last minute, you haven't .

Not quite the same...........if she jumps out of the way to avoid your hand you have changed what she was going to do.

I can confirm that if you swerve your hand out of the way at the last moment but your wife's watching, you get slapped round the face.

I think we need more rants from our manager, and more clean sheets, and less goals too.

It's not like Pardew this kind of behaviour.......

Oh... maybe just the once....

Excellent work on the YouTube clips! I was trying to remember the O'Neil incident and couldn't remember if it was O'Neil.

Cheers!

Pardew was out of order, and should probably have been sent to the stands. They had good reason to be aggrieved with their goal being disallowed but it was the ref at fault for that, not really much City could do.

In the end we scored two goals, so would have won the match anyway, and both Cabaye and Yanga-Mbiwa should have seen red. Cabaye for two yellows and Yanga-Mbiwa a straight red.

I do think Newcastle fans have had to suffer a bit over the last few years, Ashley has made the stadium a chavs delight. Wonga and Sportsdirect ! WTF.

Would Pardew have called Fergie a FOC? I fucking doubt it.

Disrespectful and classless twat.

Typical of the many Premier League managers who all had their tongues lodged up Fergies arse and rolled over time and time again when they played his team

We all say and do things we regret at times, but Pardew is going to be seriously embarrassed when he next faces his players and the press.

I forgot about Pardews half time rant today as well. Think the FA will make an example of him and give him 5 match touchline ban. (As stated before he's got previous: http://www.theguardian.com/football/201 ... w-ban-fine)

Pardew''s behaviour does not befit a premiership manager.
Pressures run very high but there are limits. As what he said has been clearly heard and reported in the papers he will probably face some punishment.
Good. The f***er deserves it!

Don't like taking moral standpoints very often as we all fallible, but this is the latest in a line of incidents. He should consider his position.

He seems a very bitter individual and an even worse loser. He seemed determined to make the most of that 'goal' incident and his teams kicking fouling performance in the second half smacked of his instructions.

I agree. It wasn't just one player kicking out, it was half his team. That to me says that Pardew sent them on a mission knowing that they could get away with it.

I actually felt a little bit bad about the result today because of their disallowed goal, that was until I saw this.
