Laporte was really weak and if you watch it again the shot was placeed not thumped yet Dias turned his head away. had he not he'd have blocked it.

Honestly thought we were the better team on the whole. Silly mistake on the first and an unbelievable 2nd from messi. Plenty positives going into the weekend.

We let him run one on one at our centre backs.
We lost that second in midfield not doing the work again.
Kev should have been off.
Bernardo was nowhere to be seen second half. Same for Sterling. Jack and Mahrez were predictable and one dimensional.
Rodri was left to graft on his own.

No doubt we fucked it in the first half when we were clearly on top, but I thought they played us very well second half and rarely looked troubled.

We all knew we needed a striker in the transfer window,we can get away with it at times but through a season and in big games like tonight it’s were we are left floundering,chances created but unfortunately not taken,we surely will buy someone in the January window,as for tonight the team played very well I thought,apart from the obvious ..
