Paris Saint-Germain (A) - CL | Post-Match Thread

Might be unpopular here, but are we at that situation again where we look worse when Kev starts for us. Remember last season when he was injured and Gundo and Phil played together as our a tracking midfield, we were playing some excellent stuff. Kev returned and we didn't look as good, not sure he should be starting every game now
We’re definitely better without him at the moment, as he’s completely unfit. The question is how we get him back to fitness and somewhere close to his best, as when he’s on song he’s obviously in the team.

The majority of his matches over the past year seem to have involved him playing himself back to fitness to some degree, to the detriment of the team. It’s all about his fitness and unfortunately it seems a persistent issue, so we get less end product.

Picking a player coz you feel sorry for him and another because he played well against them 6 months ago was in hindsight a mistake from Pep. Also thought their upgraded keeper as opposed to that clown Nevas made them much harder to score against.
Donnaruma is the new Buffon. Same measurable and freaks athletically. Top goalie.

That prick Ferdinand openly admitted he was dancing about when Messi scored that gosl

would he have been if it had been against his beloved rag

state of the English football media
Don’t see what the problem is. Camel gob like the rat Neville are dead end rags.
Iam sure Micah dances with joy each time the rags concede. Not worth the text on the tool.

We keep creating chances which is great but away from home we don’t take them. Against Spurs, Leicester, Chelsea and tonight we’ve created a ton of quality chances but only 2 goals from those 4. We need to convert away from home, simple as that.

We’re either going to keep playing well and start converting or eventually we’re going to lose a little belief on the road. Liverpool is a big big game in terms of the league but also in terms of how we play away from home.

We needed much more from Grealish, KDB and Sterling.

All the same PSG were pretty limited for a side with Messi, Mbappe and Neymar. Their back 7 worked very hard but It was like an old school cup tie at times.

I’m worried to read so many people claim we played well. Playing this way is how many teams will want us. If we play this way against Liverpool, they will be happy.
The second goal especially was a collective fuck up that reminded me of the Chelsea goal in the final.
Games like this you win and make and statement. I think PSG have positioned themselves as strong to win the competition now. They will naturally be even stronger for knockout rounds as the chemistry increases
Absolute shite. Once it comes to the knockouts they’ll flop again. People forget we beat this lot home and away in the knockouts last season. Another night we’d have won 4-2 tonight, my only issue is wasting chances again

I think that’s a fair analysis. We
Bit of a rope a dope performance from PSG. We had lots of possession but very little cutting edge.
I think that’s a fair analysis. We doninated the game and we had a number of chances to put it away. We didn’t and they hit us twice. We have to be more clinical In front of goal.
