Paris Saint-Germain (A) - CL | Post-Match Thread

The better team is the one who takes its chances. We played into their hands second half, we created pretty much sod all despite having all the play and they counter attacked and punished us for doing next to nothing in their box all half.

We were excellent first half and should have gone in 1-1 at half time, second half would have been different then.
Agree with you here, thought we started to look a little lost and jaded after about 15 mins of the second half. We really didn't create much second half, a few weak shots at the goalkeeper but little else. We needed to score first half when we were on top.

We looked good tonight which is encouraging going forwards for the rest of the group. Played better than we did when we beat them first leg last year. They looked really good that game and had us on the ropes at times. Tonight was a bit like a prem game vs the likes of Leicester looking to hit us on the break

Not anywhere as disappointed as I should be. Think we will progress quite easily and the return game is just about who finishes top.
Seen that game a million times though, knew we weren’t scoring when Bernardo somehow out sterlinged Sterling..

Messi got his normal goal, we played quite well really without ever really creating much, but how Bernardo missed that chance is a mystery.

PSG were very negative on the whole, relying on the counter. 3 shots on target and 2 goals.

We will play much worse than that and win.

Frustratingly familiar

It all depends on if Leipzig become the whipping boys of the group and score 0 points, it would be too close for comfort.
Didn't we finish 3rd on 12 points in the Mancini era.
Depends on a lot of things, but unless you expected to get 18 points this is the game away at PSG you would expect to drop some, especiallly falling between chelsea and liverpool away.
