Paris Saint-Germain (A) - CL | Post-Match Thread

We were the better team by a mile, PSG were there for the taking but we couldn't make it count when the chances came our way, two break away goals against the run of play, were the only chances they had. Messi did fuck all apart from his goal. I hope it doesn't knock our confidence for Sunday, with the scouse twats scoring 5 at Porto aswel

He surely won't be offered one
Sterling does not look half the player he was.I said even after the win at weekend we would regret not going for a pure goal scorer in some of the big games. Thought we were marginally the better team over the 90 but we lacked that killer instinct.we got so close last year and not sure we can go one step further.Hope I am wrong

Grealish was our best forward even tho he got smashed all game with zero protection. The Ref must have found his significant other pleasuring themselves to a pic of Grealishes thighs before the game.
I thought he was strangely passive tonight. Horrible refereeing but he also seemed a bit overawed by the occasion and seemed reluctant to engage or take on Hakimi. Hopefully he's a quick learner as he has generally been excellent so far

Two incidents, two different approaches…

1. Played the ball, yellow card, VAR involved, much comment from BT Sport. But… look at the feet of both players. The same position, except Kev has one foot planted on the ground while the other guy is airborne (and so out of control). Kev played the ball. This isn’t even a foul, at least not by Kev.

2. Wild lunge, knee high, no attempt to play the ball, glossed over, yellow card. Look how high the foot is. Look how far away the ball is. Again, neither foot of the PSG man standing on the ground. This is a clear red card for dangerous play and/or excessive force.

Conclusions: the ref is a c*nt and so are BT

And Sky,Talkshite and the BBC.

Was I watching a different game to many on here? Thought we played well and created lots of chances. Maybe a Harry Kane would put one away but I’m not going to point the blame at not buying a striker every time we don’t score. Donnarumma was excellent and we got done by a nice finish and some Messi briliance. We deserved a draw. I’m actually feeling weirdly very positive after this defeat.
We did play well but it wouldn’t be Bluemoon if the usual entitled wet wipes didn’t have their melt downs. :)

Well then surely he should be giving a chance. Never find out if he could do a job for us if he doesn't play him. I mean in a game with the first team not a half and half side in the league cup.
Hahahaha. You don’t give a half baked kid with no experience “a chance” against PSG. It took Foden 3 years of first team exposure to be ready for this game and delap doesn’t look anything like as good as him.
