Worked a treat to be fair. They’re usually far more open and had they been we’d have taken them apart.
 
Thought over the 90 minutes we were the better team and the scoreline flattered them.
A couple of our players were below par.
My gripe is the inverted wingers, they hug the touchline then as night follows day they cut inside into an already crowded area, this slows us down and makes us quite predictable, this works against lesser teams, but the psg defenders are no mugs and it didn't work last night.

I wonder what he'd have had to do to score even a pretty modest 7.

Rodri was the best player on the pitch, better than Veratti who was also excellent. Kyle walker was outstanding too.

I was as surprised as anyone that our end was full to be fair but as we get better it will happen that we get more fans around the world. It's just how it is and I'm just grateful that us locals are lucky that we see the team live every week.

As for the game, I was over it by 11pm last night. All predictable in terms of missing chances but the Scouse is the priority this week.

The Bulgarian reference is to the champions League final,where loyal match attending blues were having to pay ridiculous figures whilst their tickets were heading over to the Bulgarian supporters

L'equipe convinced social media and the UK press pack that if you take 2 off every score and never give a 10, your team ratings are to be taken seriously.

Fortunately I think that peaked a few years ago and people are realising how stupid they are.
 
Better team for most of the match but didn't put the ball in the net. No big deal.

That is the wording of a glory hunter, personally i go to the game for excitement, a good result gives the feel good factor, we were good for at least a draw in this game it did not happen so be it, we were never going to be able to knock PSG out at this stage and the Brugge games were always going to be the important ones.
 
Liverpool always the bigger of the two games. Thing we will see the Chelsea line for sure.
We will still qualify in top spot, so all will be good.
