also hilarious that Poch got a 7 , what were his great tactics yesterday ? he told them to not conceded and get to ball to messi, mbappe or neymar, genius tactics right there
Not if he was offside but that's a pointless dispute.....
Although that miss from Bernie was just unbelievable - he puts that away and it would have been a different game.

Absolutely but at the same time if we produced those two performances against the same two teams again on the balance of probability I reckon we could score 3 or 4 over the two games.That might be something to do with the quality of the opposition?
Even by our standards we were lacking in the finishing department.

I thought we looked in control for large parts of that game. Their first goal was a scrappy bit of defending but a quality top bin finish and Messi does what Messi does.....a quality move and finish. A fair few positives for us and a big shout out to Rodri, he's looked very good the past few games and seems fitter. Walker too played really well and the defence on the whole looked solid.
We just seemed to lack that final pass to open them up. They defended much better than last time. As someone else said, maybe the pace of a Sane-type going on the outside would have helped instead of cutting back inside all the time. Sterling to be fair made some intelligent runs and was unlucky with his header but his touch seems a bit off, no idea if Bernardo was offside or not, it didn't go in so that's that and I haven't looked at it again.
Ref was ......odd. A lot of soft decisions to PSG. Seemed out of his depth. KDB was lucky not to get a red though, even though he made a genuine attempt and got a touch on the ball. You've seen them sent off for similar tackles before and I feared the worst when I saw the reply. Verratti was immense for them, Messi still has a finish in him, but by and large Neymar was a spoilt little twat who did nothing and Mbappe was handled pretty well. If we met again in the knockout stages it wouldn't unduly phase me.
Would have obviously preferred a different result but not all negative for me and I expect us to have a real go against Liverpool. Onwards......

Was a good game to watch tbh. We played very well I thought, were just unable to get the goal. It does go to show how having a top finisher can change a game.

Was offside anywayI thought we played really well and dominated PSG. They changed to a very defensive game plan which left less space for us to counter them and their defence were outstanding. I can see alot of the big teams going this way this season and without a recognised striker we may struggle to win these games.
