We put them very firmly in their place yesterday. We didn't play brilliantly, but, in the second half, we assumed total control of the game. That is so demoralising for a team of fancy dans like PSG that there is absolutely no way they are coming back in this tie, barring some very unexpected event. Phil had the perfect opportunity after this late on in the game to go down after Neymar tried to stop him with a high boot. Neymar, already on a booking, could have been given a 2nd yellow and he would have been suspended next week. Instead Phil rode the challenge and ran at their entire defence ending with a shot straight at Navas again.

....and that's just a start.

We need to play with the intensity of the second half last night, not the first, we could have been 3-0 down at half time, and that was just from corners/free headers (and yes I've watched it back twice), even in the second half when they barely got in our half, we were fortunate the cross from Mbappe, wasn't put in by Varatti.

It's currently half time, we've had one poor quarter, and one great quarter, but there's still 2 more to come.

I'm quite confident that we are too good for them, but I won't take anything for granted, it will be another tough night, we're better away from home than at home recently, and they have a very good recent away record.
