Paris Saint-Germain (A) - CL SF | Post-Match Thread

Just re-watched the match. The sight of the shithouse PSG players trying to get KDB sent off was pathetic. Fucking Neymar begging for red then all pally after the yellow came out.

I hope we bury the cunts at our place.

Mardarse fannies the lot of 'em.
I wouldn't mind rewatching it, good shout. It was so intense and fast the whole match seemed to be over in about half hour

Something missing from those away results though..

Dias and Stones!!!View attachment 15366
Barca and Bayern were both first legs...they're coming to Etihad down 2 away goals...much different situation, much different opponent...also, Bayern was minus Lewandowski, Gnabry, and very early on Goretzka...

Let's not underestimate PSG, they are quite capable of turning this tie on it's head.

I don't underestimate them, but, I suspect you are overestimating them.
We put them very firmly in their place yesterday. We didn't play brilliantly, but, in the second half, we assumed total control of the game. That is so demoralising for a team of fancy dans like PSG that there is absolutely no way they are coming back in this tie, barring some very unexpected event. I expect another City win at the Etihad,so, shall we make a date for Istanbul?
Have confidence - we are the best team in Europe when at full strength, as we were yesterday.

Totally agree. I worry about our ability to actually stick the ball in the net. Everything else is perfect, but we had 2 fluky goals yesterday and with them down to 10 men and us all over them, we had a golden opportunity to finish the tie off. I mean with us so rampant, and them knackered, deflated and depleted and we had things like that killer run and cross from Rodri and no-one making an effort to get on the end of it.
