Dortmund isn't Bavaria, they aren't as big on bier tents. It's a bit cold for them anyway at that time of year !
Drink beer in the pubs and glühwein at the market.
 
Hopefully we'll still have a chance of qualifying when we play Dortmund.

However, if we've already been knocked out by then some people need to man up and still enjoy the occasion as the OP said. I'm as gutted as anyone about last night's goings-on but we've seen numerous City games down the years where the result was ultimately meaningless and in far less palatable surroundings than a 3 day beano to Germany, yet as fans we've still had a great time.

This should still be a cracking trip even if it's a dead rubber.
