Not likely to offer much more than 10m. Hard to know what he is worth he had a good stint with Celtic but not sure if he can transition to the next level.
But surely he is worth a squad place ahead of the likes of Delph if it come down to needing an extra home grown player.

No, we paid 5m, he hasn't as you clearly say "kicked a ball for us yet" so none of the further clauses will have been triggered. Either way, I don't see any possible reason we would sell him for a pittance. He definitely needs another loan, he simply hasn't been tested that much in Scotland.

Celtic have a ten percent sell-on clause on van Dijk, so they are on for about £6m just for that potential sale to Liverpool.

They can add that to the other £10m they should be asked to find for Roberts.

Funnily enough, they were quoting us £15m for Kieran Tierney last year, not even their third best player!
