Thought the fact Foden and Diaz got on ahead of him against Spurs was quite telling. Probably suggests he's not in Peps plans for this season. Didn't impress at all in the limited time he got in the friendlies, not long enough to judge him but Peps haad him in training for a few weeks now, you have to think he wasn't really impressing in training either to not get more of a chance. If he's to go out on loan it absolutely should be to somebody in the premier league where he's going to get regular game time if we can find a willing taker.

Based on his pre season, looks like he is going out on loan.

Was expecting him to shine this pre season and score a couple while Foden and Diaz would be the substitutes. The opposite happened.

Roberts is not ready yet for us but I would like to see him stay in the PL.

tbf hes barely played. hes quite hard to judge him based on the limited game time hes had.
 
People judging him entirely on preseason is ridiculous, based on preseason form we should drop Aguero and Jesus as well.
 
Unfortunately, many fans here don't appreciate what a gifted player City have.

Roberts has the potential to be as good as Sterling if not better, all what he need is opportunity and trust.
