Would be a good loan move if he must go out on loan. Sorry but there's no point in him going back to SPL, top end of Ligue 1 and still getting CL footy with Nice is a good option for Roberts and City

If we have decided to let him go, I think City would prefer

1) Premier League loan
2) Nice
3) Celtic in that order

and I suspect that there will be offers from Premiership clubs. Clubs like Huddersfield, Brighton, Newcastle etc would be mad not to make City an offer.

However the player might be getting fed up of loans.

Foden and Diaz are both better than him so I really wouldn't blame him if he moves on.. Surely he's Got to be aiming higher than the Scottish league though no disrespect!

I agree, if he goes back there it's because it's easy. He doesn't want to get any better
