Sad news, he seemed like a genuinely good guy.

Was up in the night and thought I was seeing things with this news, bit gutted tbh, one of the few scousers I genuinely had time for, funny, kind and caring, and had a really lovely nature to him.

Me too! There are many, barely a handful, none of whom wear a red shirt, but he was one of 'em! I think he was a genuine kind of guy. Almost unique among Scousers.

Quite a shock to hear this news. I quite liked him because he came across down to earth and he loved dogs. Wasn't a great fan of Lily Savage character but PO seemed a decent chap.

He was from Birkenhead pal. And even they hate scousers! :)

Was in the same coach as him on a train to Euston a few years back. Seemed like a really friendly bloke who had time for everyone & was willing to chat to anyone who wanted to.
