Gutted, dog rescue legend, a genuinely kind and funny bloke taken far too soon.

Was in the same coach as him on a train to Euston a few years back. Seemed like a really friendly bloke who had time for everyone & was willing to chat to anyone who wanted to.

That’s one of the things I really liked about him too mate, heard from quite a few different people who said he was a real amiable guy and always happy to chat and have a laugh with strangers, no airs and graces, unlike many.

Really sad news. He seemed like a proper down to earth person who did a lot for animals and helping to get the various charities noticed.
