Paul Pogba

The only silver lining if the scum get Pogba will be that Maureen will have him playing such a rigid system they may have well bought Ramieres(sp).

So then why exactly should we be worried? They've got a collection of wank midfielders. Signing Pogba won't make them amazing overnight.

I also think that there's a ridiculous misconception about what Pogba's strengths are. He cannot 'control' a midfield in the way that Toure used to in his pomp. He doesn't have that in his locker yet. He's someone who has flashes of brilliance but someone who is also far from fully developed mentally. His lack of intelligence on the pitch is something which IMO will hold him back.

Ask yourself this. If Pogba's as good as people say he is, why is it that City, Bayern, Barcelona, and by the looks of it PSG and Real Madrid too, are walking away from any deal for him?
Because he is not as good as he thinks he is. But this doesn't mean he is not better than most. He is asking to be treated like the best player in the world. That he is not. And thus mist teams will walk away. But let's not confuse that for him not being a fantastic player. He is. And I expect him to crash into the top 5 this up coming season, if he stays at Juve.

Am I missing something?

Why are people talking about him going to the rags without seemingly a hint of humour or mockery to it?
I though people were just playing along but it seems there's a couple who actually think there's a chance he'll go back to the shithole.

He won't.

By the looks of it, there are only two possible destinations for him if he leaves Juve this summer: Real or United. Obviously I hope it's the former, and that seems the more likely despite what the bookies say, but it's not really that ridiculous to think he could end up back at United in the circumstances.

Nah, not having it mate. :-)

reports for 100 million. Lmfao 100 MILLION!!!! How desperate can those rag fuckers get!!! Would be piss funny if they do spend 100 mill on him. Why would he chose them over real? rags are a complete shit team with new players no fuckers heard off, no champs league and a manger that loves himself to death. Hope the circus thats utd continues. Got to love Woodward, hes thick as pig shit.

If we spent 100m wed be saying its a statement and a great thing. I hate utd too but they are doing the right thing IMO. It's like 50m on the player and 50m of PR to show they are not irrelevant.

For the rags though, it's a different situation. They let the lad go on the free and burned their bridges with him too. Now they are back at his door, cap in hand, hoping he'll take more money to not wait for Real Madrid and breaking the record to satisfy a Juventus that have them over the barrel.

This is far from a good situation for United and gambling on it paying off for obscenely large amounts of money could see their hands tied in the transfer market for years to come.

I know it's funny that utd let him go, just as Chelsea let KDB go. Could just as easily though be us in the future for Denis Suarez or many more very promising kids that we let go with or without a fight.

If I was in utd's place I'd not care about how funny it looked. I'd get the player in and screw everyone else.

I'm jealous that he's going there. Big time.

Wait, what did I miss? Is it confirmed he's going to United?

Regardless, I agree the rags are making the right decision by not being off-put by how they handled the situation, even if it ends up costing them more. They want Pogba and feel he justifies the price and restructuring of wages that will inevitably occur afterwards. Pep clearly didn't feel the same.

If he doesn't go there I'll be over the moon... Love the idea that he goes to RM and we get Kroos.

Can 'snubbed again' please report to the United thread please. That's snubbed again to the United thread...and can someone give "we didn't want him anyway " a nudge as he's going to be wanted soon.
