Paul Pogba

Pogba has said he is staying at Juventus to a couple of fans in New York. He hasn't ever said he is going to United or even that he wants to. His agent has categorically stated no deal has been done.

Why would he go to United? He's already been there and couldn't wait to get away. Also means he'd be losing out on Champions League.

The whole thing could have been a clarkie by Pogba and a publicity stunt by Adidas. I hope United and fans are able to see the funny side, it's a sense of humour that gets you through the tough times.

I think it could definitely be a publicity stunt by Adidas and it would be good for all parties except the rags. Pogba's value will also increase because the rags were willing to pay 100+ mil and his name being in the news everyday gives him added exposure.

I do think that he will flop if he goes to the rags due to a number of reasons I previously mentioned. It now seems that Mourinho will play the 4-2-3-1 formation meaning that Pogba will be playing in a midfield two. Has Pogba ever played in a midfield two? Juve plays 3-5-2 and it seems he played in the 4-2-3-1 formation in a game or two for France at the Euros which didn't go so well. Pogba likes to get forward a lot, him playing in a midfield two will be a disaster. At least we had Fernandinho to cover, a world class player IMO when Yaya went forward, and we still had difficulties. The rags will have one of Schneiderlin, Fellaini, Carrick or Herrera to cover when Paul gets forward searching for a goal. They will struggle.

When you come to realise this is like the rags having their own Yaya, the £100m fee isn't funny anymore.

I think people are clutching at straws if they think Pogba won't end up at United this transfer window.
